Most detail budget pages have a button at the top labeled ‘Breakdown’. This allows you to enter up to 20 rows of detail information for any non-labor Line Numbers.
To use it, select a cell on the row that you wish to use it on, and then press the button. A new sheet will be revealed where you can enter your detailed information.
By default, there will be 5 rows showing on the Breakdown sheet. To Add Rows, click the 'Add Rows' button at the top of the sheet. You can add up to 15 rows, for a total of 20.
There is a check box under the TOTAL labeled "Lock this Line Number from manual changes" that will be checked by default. This means that the row for the Line Number on the budget page will become locked, and you will not be able to make changes to it. The only way to make changes will be via the Breakdown sheet. If you don't want the row to become locked, you can uncheck this box. (If a row is locked, there will be a dot to the right of the TOTAL column.)
When you’re finished, press the ‘SAVE’ button, and the total from the Breakdown sheet will be written to that Line in the budget.
