How to Split Distribution Lines

Lines can be split on transactions that have been previously posted.

1) From the transaction, navigate to Other Actions > Enable Distribution Changes

2) To split a line item, click Split

3) Click the plus button to select the number of splits you would like to do. Click "Confirm" to proceed with the split

4) The line will initially split into equal amounts. You will be able to update accounts, description, coding, and the amount as long as it totals to the original amount

5) When all changes have been completed, Click Save

 

6) A confirmation window will come up showing the distribution of the split. Click "Confirm" to record the distribution change
